Panel Systems 444 and 555 come conveniently packaged, ready to install. Panels fit snugly into spline moldings, and work continues progressively with splines and panels. This installation method alone means substantial savings in time and labor.

Seven basic steps to a perfect installation

1. Apply furring strips horizontally, 24" o.c. Rabbet inside corner edge of panel 3/16" to provide a method of fastening and for inserting panel on opposite wall.

2. Start paneling at an inside corner. Plumb and fit first panel accurately, using locator panel on opposite wall to obtain correct position of two corner panels. Then nail first panel into furring strips through rabbet.

3. Insert spine molding at right edge of first panel and nail to furring with 3d finish coated nails.

4. Slide second panel into position over spline and continue progressively with splines and panels.

5. Rabbit edges of corner panels similarly to accept corner molding. Then nail into furring as shown.

6. Outside corner molding fits evenly into rabbited edges. Nail through predrilled pilot holes. Set an fill.

7. Position ceiling molding at top of panel and nail through face with 3d finish coated nails. Set and fill.
